The brooms came out late at night, as the Raptors swept the Wolves 7-0 in a match that continued past 10 p.m.

Coach Mandy Gamble was overjoyed. "[I'm] so pumped about the win – the whole team contributed. That was a quality performance against a very tough opponent."

Senior Victoria Bagatcholon clinched the match at No. 6 singles, besting Aylina Razeq. Bard had an inspired 7-2 run at the beginning of the first set, coming from 3-7 down to 10-8 up, powered by kills from Xenia Vassou and Coral Cook. However, at 17-17, Saint Elizabeth freshman Marissa Heimbaugh unleashed a flurry of kills, and Alyssa Wells struck an ace, forcing Bard coach Lindsey Veersma to call a timeout.
